Dr. Jacqueline Shiels is a licensed clinical psychologist who is passionate in providing evidence-based treatments in a warm, compassionate, and collaborative manner. She has taken an active role in the mental health community by serving as a leader and activist. She strives to reduce the stigma of seeking help by guiding her patients to cope with the inevitable difficulties that can arise in life.
Dr. Shiels’ has extensive training in health psychology and her therapeutic style encourages individuals to live a life consistent with their values. She specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders and has training in Family-Based Treatment (“Maudsley”) for adolescents with anorexia.
